In January we sold our family-owned company, White Knight. Amy and I started the company that would become White Knight the same year that we got married; 1988. People always asked me where the name White Knight came from. To me, it was always something that was hidden in the armor. It meant whatever any good person wanted it to mean.
When we were finalizing the sale of the company assets, I was asked if there was anything I wanted to hold back from the purchase. I told them that for sentimental purposes, I wanted to keep the suit of armor that had been in my office. So it now stands in the entryway of our home.
