I became familiar with Brazilian Barbecue when I lived in Brazil in the mid 1980s. Back then, in Brazil, we paid about $8.00 U.S. per person for all we could eat. That was a real bargain! Churrascaria, as the Brazilians call it, is a Simmons Family favorite. This was Steve's request for his last meal with the family for three months. On Tuesday morning he left for California for thirty days of Marine Combat Training. After that, he will go to sixty days of training as a light armored vehicle mechanic.
